About
Dr. Peter Mirkin is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in spine conditions due to injury, degenerative conditions, and deformity.
Previously, he served the United States Navy as Lieutenant Commander and is a veteran of Operation Desert Shield/Storm. Dr. Mirkin has held the position of Staff Orthopaedic Surgeon of Long Beach Naval Hospital, Long Beach, California, and Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.
Dr. Mirkin provides the following treatments:
- Spine surgery (cervical, thoracic, lumbar)
- Total disc arthroplasty
- Discectomy
- Decompression/fusion (cervical, lumbar)
- Laminotomy/foraminotomy
