Joel James, Signature Medical Group's director of public and governmental affairs, appeared on a "healthcare roundtable" Thursday, July 6, on KMOX radio (1120 AM).
Host Mark Reardon, subbing for Charlie Brennan, also discussed healthcare issues with Mary Jo Condon, senior director of partnerships and projects at the St. Louis Area Business Health Coalition, and Dave Dillion of the Missouri Hospital Association.
James discussed Signature's role as a healthcare innovator, serving as a convener in Medicare's Bundled Payments for Care Initiative (BPCI) for lower joint replacement surgery.
He also warned against the dangers of obesity and the opioid epidemic sweeping the nation.
