Signature Orthopedics, a division of Signature Medical Group, welcomes fellowship-trained Alexander Heck, MD to the practice.
Dr. Alexander Heck is a board-certified physiatrist with a subspeciality in interventional pain management. He attended the University of Missouri – Columbia for medical school, then completed his residency and fellowship at The Ohio State University and Vanderbilt University, respectively.
His areas of interest are wide-ranging, including spondylosis, radiculopathy, stenosis, sacroiliac joint pain, bursitis, tendinosis, osteoarthritis, myofascial pain, and more.
“I love the field of physiatry because while we don’t have an organ or body part that we “own,” we are doctors of function – this gives us tools and flexibility to meet patients where they are, and assist them to become more functional in their daily lives,” Dr. Heck says.
