Signature Medical Group is pleased to announce that Amy Zippay, MD, has joined Premier Care Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. Dr. Zippay is a board certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) specialist. She received her undergraduate and Medical Degree at The University of Missouri-Kansas City. Dr. Zippay went on to Washington University and Barnes Jewish Hospital to complete a residency and internship in internal medicine and PM&R training, which included spinal cord injury, stroke, brain injury, amputee, musculoskeletal and Electrodiagnostic medicine.
Amy Zippay, MD, was the Chief Resident in PM&R from 2003-2004. Dr. Zippay has 12 years of experience at an orthopedic private practice. Her practice is focused on the spine, interventional procedures and electrodiagnostics.
Dr. Zippay enjoys getting to know her patients individually and carefully listening to them so she can educate them on their condition appropriately. She enjoys working with her patients as a team to give them back their quality of life. In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband and three sons. Dr. Zippay, was born and raised in St. Louis, so naturally she is a huge St. Louis Cardinals fan!
