Tanner is a typical, active kid. He spends his days playing football, practicing taekwondo, swimming, and playing with his friends. Like all kids, he’s an everyday hero-in-training.
But even St. Louis’ strongest (and youngest!) heroes need a little help from time to time.
“Tanner was jumping on the trampoline and broke his finger,” Tanner’s mom, Loretta, says. “He fractured the bone in two places and had a cast on for weeks.”
Tanner received care from the physicians at Signature Orthopedics CityPlace, and the family had a great experience there.
“Everyone was very friendly, and they made Tanner feel comfortable,” Loretta says. “I liked that they spoke directly to him, as the patient.”
For many kids, seeing a doctor for a serious injury can be a frightening experience. But the family was all smiles during Tanner’s appointments.
“The doctors and the staff tried to lighten the mood, joking around but still maintaining a sense of professionalism,” Loretta says. “We’d definitely recommend the practice to other patients because our experience there was so positive.”
These days, Tanner has fully recovered and is back to doing what he does best – being a kid. +
